Moratuwa A won the cup championship while Rajarata won the shield championship, Moratuwa B won the bowl championship and Wayamba A team won the plate championship.
The 14 th Mora Inter Collegiate academic rugby sevens kicked off on a sunny Deepavali day in Colombo at the Havelock Sports Club grounds.
The first game was between hosts Moratuwa University A team and Uva University B team. Moratuwa A beat Uva B convincingly as they scored 28 points past a helpless Uva B team.
<p”>The second game saw the Open University take on Wayamba A team. Wayamba A kicked off their campaign with a win as they scored 22 unanswered points versus the Open University.

The Plate final was held between ACBT and Wayamba A. In a closely contested match Wayamba A immerged victorious as they managed to convert a penalty in injury time to win the Plate championship.

The Shield final between Rajarata and Uva A saw a one sided game as Rajarata immerged victorious. Uva A did not manage a single point in the game.

In the Bowl semi final Moratuwa B managed to come from behind to secure a convincing win over Uva B. The final score read,

The Cup final was a one sided game as Moratuwa A held NIBM scoreless as Moratuwa A breezed past NIBM to secure the 14th Mora Inter Collegiate academic rugby sevens cup championship. The final score read,
