Moors vs Army
Moors skipper Shehan Jayasooriya guided his team to their 3rd outright win for the season when he completed a super double of 9 wicket match bag and scoring over 250 runs in the match as the home team, Moors SC beat Army SC by 10 wickets at Braybrooke place. Army boys fought hard in their 2nd innings to pile up 281 runs but Kaushalya Gajasinghe’s off-spinners were too hot to handle for the visitors as he grabbed 6 wickets in the Army 2nd innings.

Navy stunned the defending champions when they registered an innings and 6 runs win Tamil Union succumb to their first outright loss this season at Welisara. Resuming from their overnight score of 142, Tamil Union failed to pile on runs as they final 5 wickets fell for 40 runs. Yohan Soyza and Akash Senarathne impressed with the ball.
