The Sri Lions Sports Club and Academy proudly announced the return of the ‘Sri Lions International Netball League 2025’ which will be held from 16th to 18th May.
The tournament consists of six teams divided into two groups of three. After the group stage, the top two teams of each group will play in the semi final while the bottom ranked teams will play in the 5th place-playoff.
There will be a total of 12 matches spread across the three days. Day 1 and 2 matches will be played at the Air Force Indoor Stadium in Thunmulla while the 3rd and final day matches will be played at the St. Joseph’s College Indoor Courts.
Last year’s champions State Services Association are in Group A along with Mercantile Netball Association and Brunei’s Royal Bees, the national netball team of Brunei. Group B consists of Kothalawala Defense University, Sri Lanka Schools and Sri Lions. Group A will be tough, as all three teams are strong with current and former national team players.
