Leedians set to begin their Big-Match journey

Students from Leeds International School in the Western Province will take on those from the Southern Province in their inaugural Big-match to be held on the 01st of April 2018 at the Public Grounds, Bandaragama.

About Leeds

Leeds International School is a very well-regarded, high achieving and popular school located across 10 major cities in Sri Lanka such as Panadura, Matara, Galle, Horana, Ambalangoda, Matugama, Piliyandala, Tangalle, Kiribathgoda & Negombo. Big Match 2018

This historical event of the Leeds Network of Schools is scheduled to be graced by prominent cricket personnel, the Director Board, Heads of Schools & many other dignitaries.

Inter – Leeds Big Match 2018 is an exciting cricketing experience organized to encourage & promote the cricketing talents of the Leedians which were witnessed at the recent All Island Schools Cricket Tournaments & at the Inter International Schools Cricket Tournaments. Leeds hope this platform would be a great opportunity for the Leedians to gain the Big Match experience and are sure that with the interest seen this year, this initiative will continue to grow from strength to strength over the coming years.

The Western team will be captained by Umash De Zoysa and coached by Mr. Channa Prasad
