It was a nostalgic moment for coach Dushanth Lewke as unbeaten Royal College retained the coveted Singer Schools Rugby League for a second successive occasion defeating St. Peter’s College at the Royal Complex last evening.

Taking over reigns as head coach of the Royal side this season,  Dushanth Lewke becomes one of the few coaches who have won the league title in his first year as a coach.

Speaking to ThePapare.com, Lewke added that this league trophy is for the fans who stood by the team during the hard times, especially from that defeat against Isipathana College in 2017.
