Sri Lanka under 19 left-arm fast bowler Kalana Perera, who is in the 15 member squad taking part in the ongoing ICC Under 19 World Cup in New Zealand will fly back home, as he has suffered an injury to his ankle.
The injury has occurred, while engaging in practices on 16th January at the Kensington Park in Whangarie, New Zealand.
Sri Lanka Cricket’s National Selectors have decided to send St. Servatius’ College fast bowler Thilan Prashan as the replacement for Kalana Perera.
Thilan Prashan was on the standby players list.
