Jayasuriya joins hands with Child Protection Force

Former Sri Lanka Cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya has joined Child Protection Force as a goodwill ambassador.

As per the appointment, Jayasuriya will volunteer himself as a goodwill ambassador for the organization, promoting the child rights laws in Sri Lanka. 

“So humbled to have the legend Mr. Sanath Jayasuriya at Child Protection Force today, volunteering himself as a child force trooper and our goodwill ambassador. We are ever so grateful for his interest and enthusiasm to work with us for the future of Sri Lanka’s children,” Child Protection Force said in a statement via its official Facebook page.

Child Protection Force, which was founded in 2017, has been working alongside government organizations with an aim of promoting child rights laws and ensuring the protection of children trapped in the legal system in the country.
