Lyceum International School Panadura vs Gateway College, Colombo
Girls from Colombo got off to a flyer as they etched the jumped ball and converted it into points in the first possession. Capitalising on the opp mistakes they went on a scoring rampage as they led the game ten points to zero at the end of the first quarter.

Hounded by the pressure of an early lead, the girls from Panadura failed miserably in the second quarter. They failed to score and Gateway College led the game fourteen points to zero at half time.

After a much needed ten minute break, Lyceum Panadura stepped onto the court with some resolution to bounce back into the game. In contrast to the first two quarters their performance in the third was indeed satisfactory. They got the party started by scoring two points while they made sure the opponents did not score a single point at the other end. Yet, the early lead standing beside the girls from Colombo as they led the game fourteen points to two.

Lyceum International School Nugegoda vs Asian International School
Lyceum International outfit coming all the way from Nugegoda is one of the favorites stepping into the tournament with a blend of talented new blood and experience campaigners.

It was indeed a tough ask for the girls from AIS to out match their counterparts as they started off on a high scoring eighteen points in the first ten minutes. AIS testing their luck out managed to score five points in reply.

The offense of the Lyceum girls flows naturally and they have the added advantage of etching the rebounds and getting the second chance at the hoops. Getting the better of AIS in the second quarter they added up another ten points as they led the game twenty five points to seven as the game was called off for lemons.

Nothing seemed to be going on the way of the AIS gals as they only scored six points in the third quarter. Lyceum International dominating every aspect of the game, added another seven points in third quarter while they scored eight more in the final quarter.

With points leaking on the other end it was a tough ask for the AIS girls to keep up to the pace of the game and etch the winning line. AIS was desperately in need of a planned offensive strategy which was not forthcoming and that cost them the game.
