After the early 2nd half try, Teams made unforced and forced errors in a crowd teaser of a game as the match reached the final 15 minutes. Alexander took a deep breath and kicked the ball to bisect the uprights in the second attempt to register a thrilling 26-25 victory for the Philippines.

Sri Lankans opposed to the call by referee but the Referee’s decision was final and the hearts were broken of the Tuskers as their unsuccessful Asian 5 Nations 2014 campaign ended without a win.
