India’s squad named for Sri Lanka tour to undergo two-week quarantine in Mumbai

India squad announced for Sri Lanka tour is scheduled to assemble in Mumbai tomorrow (14th June) to undergo a two-week quarantine before their departure to the island.

All the members of the touring party have been asked to take a Covid-19 test before reaching the hotel in Mumbai. During the quarantine period, they will undergo regular Covid-19 tests.

Former Indian batsman Rahul Dravid who has been named as the head coach of the Indian team touring to Sri Lanka, will also travel to Mumbai and undergo the quarantine with other members of the Indian contingent.

The Indian team led by Shikhar Dhawan will arrive in Sri Lanka on the 28th of June. The visitors will then undergo another three-day strict room quarantine from 29th June to 1st of July at Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo. The training will begin from the 2nd of July ahead of the first ODI on the 13th of July.
