Sri Lanka Cricket announced today that Secretary of Sri Lanka Cricket Mr. Nishantha Ranatunga wrote to Mr. Dave Richardson CEO of ICC, requesting a clarification on the incident where a Hindi song was played as the introduction to the Sri Lanka team at the Champions Trophy in London yesterday. He has further requested to know how the ICC intends to rectify this mishap.
The issue has caused much strife among the Sri Lankans
