Four cricketers miss flight

Four of the Sri Lanka cricket team members returned home only after they found out that their visa to Ireland or their airline bookings are not in proper order.

The players went to the airport together with their baggages while Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officials handled their passports and air tickets.

However after these four players were not allowed to board the flight because the SLC officials had not obtained their visas to Ireland.

Ceylon Today learns that the players will now receive their visas today and probably board a flight later in the day.

The cricketers are Dhammika Prasad, Niroshan Dickwella, Upal Tharanga and another. They took a taxi ride back home.
