Fixtures have been confirmed for the SLC Major Club 4-Day League 2026/27, with Sri Lanka’s top 14 clubs set to compete in the tournament from November 19, 2026, to January 20, 2027.
The competition will mark a significant change in format, moving from a three-day tournament to a four-day affair for the first time. The change comes following a recommendation by the newly appointed Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Transformation Committee.
- Salman Agha ton powers Pakistan to victory in tri-series opener
- Sri Lanka’s World Cup plans need patience, not panic
The transition to four-day cricket is expected to provide clubs with a longer format to compete in, aligning the tournament more closely with the demands of the international Test cricket.
