The Sri Lanka Cricket opted for 5 uncapped players for the T20 series against Pakistan at a meeting of the selection committee held on 21st July 2015 at 3.00 p.m.
Dhananjaya de Silva – top order batsman who bowls a bit of off spin, Dasun Shanaka a middle order hard-hitting batsman , Shehan Jayasuriya – all rounder bowling right arm off spin,
Jeffrey Vandersay right arm leg spinner who impressed in the tour games, and Binura Fernando burly left arm fast bowler step out for the country for the first time in the T20 format.
