Ravindu De Silva was unbeaten on 116, the standout performer for the Thora boys while Umayanga Suwaris supported him with 84 runs. Chamodh Sandaru grabbed 3 wickets for 54 runs for the boys from Piliyandala.

Chasing down a target of 282 runs in 39 overs as per the Parabola Method, Piliyandala MMV managed to score only 153 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Heshan Dilkith’s 41 runs was the highest score while once again showing all round performance Chamodh Sandaru scored 36 runs.

St. Sebastian’s won the toss and invited the home town boys Sylvester’s to bat first. A brilliant bowing performance saw the visitors bowling out the home team for 124 runs in 41.4 overs. Dilantha Wickramasinghe scored 44 runs while Janishka Perera and Nadeera Fernando demolished the batting line up by grabbing four wickets each, 4 for 27 runs and 4 for 23 runs respectively.

Chasing down the target was too easy for the boys from Moratuwa as they scored 125 runs losing just one wicket in 19 overs. Dunith Jayathunga scored an unbeaten half century while Sukith Prasanna scored 25 runs not out.

Another match ended up with the Parabola Method coming into play, this time in favor of Thurstan College, Colombo when they took on Vidyaloka College, Galle in their Singer Schools U17 Division 01 group ‘T’ match. Thurstan won the toss and opted to bat first, scoring 187 all out in 49.2 overs. Bavantha Jayasinghe and Ramesh Silva were the top scorers for Thurstan, making 44 and 42 respectively. Nadeera Ishan chipped in with 3 wickets for 23 runs while Rishan Chamika took 3 wickets for 30 runs.

As per the Parbola Method, Vidyaloka’s target was 132 in 27 overs. But they managed to score only 74 runs for the loss of 4 wickets giving the victory to Thurstan.
