Jaffna and Kandy qualify for the Final of National Super League 4-day Tournament as they beat Colombo and Kandy (on First Innings) respectively today (04th April), at Hambantota and Pallekele.  

Colombo vs Jaffna

Chasing an easy target of 92 runs to win, Jaffna resumed the final day on 25/0, needing only 67 runs more to win with 10 wickets in hand.

Jaffna cruised to their victory with ease using only 19 overs more in the morning session, registering a 9-wicket comprehensive win. The opening batter Navod Paranavithana top-scored with a knock of 59 runs off 84 balls with 9 fours.

Kandy vs Galle

After being in a strong position at 147/1 at stumps on day three, Galle lost their remaining 9 wickets for 207 runs. Pabasara Waduge (74), Hashan Dumindu (74) and Dhananjaya Lakshan (60) stroked half-centuries for Galle.

The speedster Asitha Fernando (4/69) and off-spinner Ashian Daniel (3/86) shared 7 wickets between themselves for Kandy.

Kandy began their second innings with a 104-run lead and posted 155/4 at the close of play on final day. The left-hand batter Kamil Mishara top scored with a knock of 63 runs off 108 balls with 5 fours.
