The inter school cricket encounter between Maliyadewa College and Dharmashoka College which commenced yesterday and concluded today had Dharmashoka College victorious by 3 wickets.
Maliyadewa in their 2nd innings scored 109 runs for a loss of 10 wickets in 23.2 overs. Minod Ranasinghe notched up an enormous half century scoring 63 runs. Sachintha Peiris supported him with 12 runs while for Dharamashoka Yohan De Silva and Ramesh Mendis bagged 5 and 4 wickets each.
Dharmashoka College in their 2nd innings managed to score 150 runs in 30.3 overs in 7 wickets. Thanura Helambage notched up a half century while Adeesha Thilanchana and Hasindu Vidarshana scored 20 runs each and Ramesh Mendis spported with an unbeaten 17 runs.
