Maliban Biscuits and Hayleys Group are set to take on each other in the final of the 32nd Singer-MCA Super Premier League 2025.
The tournament was conducted with the participation of 6 teams, in a single group round – robin, consisting 15 matches from 02nd to 17th September. CDB managed to claim the first place at the end of round-robin stage.

Stage Two – The “Knock Out” Tournament
During the knockout phase which was conducted from 22nd to 26th September, four matches worked off which decided the finalists – Maliban Biscuits and Hayleys Group.
- Eliminator One : Hayleys Group (L/3) beat HNB (L/6) by 89 runs
- Eliminator Two : Fairfirst Insurance (L/5) beat BBK Partnership (L/4) by 146 runs
- Semi Final One : Hayleys Group beat CDB (L/1) by 63 runs
- Semi Final Two : Maliban Biscuits (L/2) beat Fairfirst Insurance by 08 wickets.
The Final:
Maliban Biscuits will meet Hayleys Group in the final of the tournament at the CCC Grounds, Maitland Place. It will be held as a day-night game on the 24th October.
Stage Three – The T20 Tournament
The T20 version of the tournament is currently underway with 06 teams pooled in to two groups on a league basis, consisting 09 matches.
League stage matches are played on 01st, 04th, 07th, 10th & 12th October and the Semi Finals on 21st October, and the Final under lights tentatively fixed for 28th October 2025.

- Pool “A” – Fairfirst Insurance, Maliban Biscuits & David Pieris Group of Companies (current “C” division winner)
- Pool “B” – Hayleys Group, CDB & BBK Partnership
(HNB withdrew from the tournament therefore David Pieris Group of Companies was absorbed to the Tournament).
The Special Awards offered are Best Batsman, Best Bowler & Man of the Series for the league stage (The Man of the Series will receive a Singer LED TV, a tradition since 2000). Man of the Final for the knock-out stage & Best Batsman, Best Bowler, and Man of the Final for the T20.
The official sponsorship handing over together with the media briefing was held on Tuesday 07th October at 06.30 pm at the MCA Legends Wing with the participation of Janmesh Anthony, Marketing Director, Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Thushan Amarasuriya, Senior Vice President MCA, Sirosha Gunatilake, Vice President cum Chairman of the MCA Cricket Development and Cricket Academy Committee.
