Right-handed hard-hitting all-rounder Dasun Shanaka has been called up to the Sri Lanka T20 squad to replace injured fast-bowler Binura Fernando for the second and final match against West Indies on 11th November at R. Premadasa International Stadium.
Binura Fernando has been reported to be suffering from a hamstring injury and will not be fit for selection. The 20-year old left-armer did not play the first T20 when Sri Lanka outclassed the West Indies by 30 runs in Pallekelle on Monday night.
The 24-year old all-rounder made his debut against Pakistan last July but was not part of the original squad to face the Windies. Even though, Dasun was called up to the squad he is unlikely to play the match.
