After two weeks, AIA Premier T20 Tournament 2015/16 recommenced on Tuesday with 6 matches being worked out across three venues in Colombo.
The standout performance on 5th January was the whirlwind knock of SSC captain, Dasun Shanaka who slammed 12 massive sixes and 10 fours during his bashing 131 which came in just 48 balls.
SSC, SL Army, NCC, SL Ports Authority, Ragama and Colts recorded wins to boost their chances to qualify for the semi-finals.
SSC vs Galle
Dasun Shanaka’s excellent batting knock helped SSC defeat Galle CC by 66 runs at P. Sara Oval grounds.
SSC – 220/7 in 20 overs: Dasun Shanaka 131, Minod Bhanuka 31, Dimuth Karunaratne 27, Suraj Randiv 3/27.

CCC vs SL Ports Authority
SL Ports Authority notched up a 3-wicket victory over CCC at P. Sara Oval grounds.
