Havelock SC delivered a commanding performance to defeat CH & FC 50 – 17 at Racecourse and sealed third place. After CH opened through a maul try by Pulasthi Dasanayake, the Havelocks responded with tries from Vunaki Waqanibau and Chathura Dilshan to take control.

CH stayed in contention through Skipper Janindu Dilshan, but Jayathu Rajarathne’s maul finish edged the Havelocks ahead at Half Time. The visitors dominated the second half, with Samuel Maduwantha’s accurate kicking stretching the lead before Azmir Fajudeen marked his 100th appearance with a try. Further scores from Janindu Fernando and Rajarathne, plus a stunning 55-metre drop goal from Maduwantha, sealed an emphatic victory.

CR & FC edged Kandy SC 17 – 15 in a tense encounter at Longdon Place to secure a home Cup Final against the same opponents.
Pasindu Bandara’s brilliant solo try gave CR the early lead before Kandy responded through Salesi Havea’s maul effort. Enesi Waqanisau extended CR’s advantage early in the second half, but Kandy surged ahead through Buwanaka Udangamuwa and Shahid Zumri.
With time running out, Thenuka Nanayakkara slotted the decisive penalty, and Ravindu Anjula’s crucial lineout steal denied Kandy a late winner, confirming CR’s place in the Final.
