The second day of the John Tarbet Senior Athletic Championships commenced today at 9.00 hrs at, Diyagam Mahinda Rajapakse International Stadium.
While the athletes from the outskirts were continuing their breath-taking form in both track and felid events they set back the Colombo athletes and dominated the second day.
It is questionable as to such why the athletes from the commercial city isn`t performing up to the line and it will pop out many questions in every possible angle. The surprising fact on the story board was that, there were many injuries on the track and field and certainly it will question about the training that an athlete under goes before the tournament.
The final stages of many field events concluded today and left out the tract events incomplete for the final day.
