Sri Lanka national women’s cricket captain Chamari Athapaththu has signed with Melbourne Renegades for the ongoing Women’s Big Bash League 2022 played in Australia.
Athapaththu who represented Perth Scorchers in the last edition of the tournament will be making a return to the WBBL joining a familiar franchise for herself as she made her WBBL debut with the Renegades in 2017.
