Kalutara Vidyalaya and Tissa Vidyalaya took on each other as a 50-over big match encounter that takes places the region of Kalutara. The ODI encounter of these two schools was worked off recently to a relatively packed audience.
Tissa College won the toss and took first lease of the wicket and succumbed to an all-round bowling effort by Kalutara Vidyalaya when they collapsed for 126 all out in just 37.1 overs.
D.Thiranjan top scored for Tissa with 40 with S.Dilshan 33 and N.Danusha 18 aiding him. N.Madushan 13/2 for Kalutara was devastating and R Umayang 21/2 did the bulk of the damage.
Kalutara Vidyalaya replied relatively easily cruising to 131 for the loss of 6 wickets in 41 overs to take the game. K.Buddika masterminded the fight back with 58 as R.Umayanga in an all round effort also aided the batting with a quick fire 24. V.Rashinda also chipped in with 18 runs to easily overhaul the Tissa effort.
I.Danesh with 19/2 was the pick of the bowlers for Tissa and S.Srimal scalped two wickets for 34 runs
