Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda and Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha qualified for the final of the Under 19 Girls Inter Schools Cricket Tournament.
Rathnawali Balika Vidyalaya, continuing their unbeaten streak in the tournament, defeated last year’s runner-up Wadduwa Central College by 58 runs in the first semi-final worked off yesterday (29th April) at Surrey Grounds, Maggona.
In the other semi-final, Anula Vidyalaya defeated Devapathiraja College by 8 runs to cement their place in the final of the tournament.
The final will be played on the 02nd May at Bloomfield Grounds, Colombo. Meanwhile, Devapathiraja College is set to compete against Wadduwa Central College in the 3rd place match on the same day (02nd May) at Bloomfield Grounds.
