The Golf Ranking Tournament for the national and emerging squads teed off on 22nd of July 2022, after a morale- boosting win by Chanaka Perera.
Chanaka Perera continued dominate the turf at the July 2022 SLG Golf Ranking Tournament with a gross of 297 points in four rounds. Even though Perera was struggling in the first round, he came back strong to claim the position.
Uchitha Ranasinghe with 302 points and Rosana Prasad with 307 points clinched runner-up and first runner-up respectively. Young Reshan Algama, playing off a handicap of 5, keeps improving slowly but steadily in each tournament.
