England registered a comfortable win over Sri Lanka in the first T20I of the three-match series played at Southampton.
Having won the toss, Sri Lankan skipper Charith Asalanka opted to bowl first, but England’s batters made full use of the conditions to produce a dominant display.
England posted a massive 254/4 in their allotted 20 overs, with captain Harry Brook leading the charge with a sensational 114 off just 49 deliveries, including 10 fours and 6 sixes.
