Saracens Sports Club emerged as champions of the Governor’s Trophy 2-Day Tournament 2026 after finishing at the top of the points table following the conclusion of the competition.
Although both of their matches ended in draws, Saracens accumulated enough points through their first-innings performance to secure the championship title.

Saracens began their campaign with a drawn encounter against Lankan Cricket Club, with neither side able to force a result.
In their second and final fixture against Old Dharmapalians Sports Club, Saracens produced a strong first-innings display to earn valuable first-innings points. Despite the match also ending in a draw, those crucial points proved decisive in determining the final standings.
Their consistent performances across the tournament enabled Saracens Sports Club to finish at the summit of the points table and be crowned champions of the Governor’s Trophy 2-Day Tournament 2026.
