The 99th Hill Country battle of the blues; the annual cricketing encounter between Trinity College and St. Anthony’s College will be played on the 15th and 16th of March 2016 at the Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium.
The move to postpone the game that was supposed to be held on the 11th and 12th March comes due to the demise of the chief prelate of Asgiriya last week and due to his final rites being performed today. The school authorities took it to themselves to act in a considerate manner taking to note that the Asgiriya ground is within the vicinity of the temple.
Play will begin thus at the Pallekelle Cricket Stadium on the 15th and this is the first occasion that the big match will be played at this venue. The one day encounter will continue as scheduled on the 19th at Katugastota
