Nethmi Poorna of Wadduwa Central College stroked a record-breaking blistering knock in Singer U19 Division 1 Girls Tournament 2020/21.
The 15-year old Nethmi Poorna representing Wadduwa Central College smashed unbeaten 197 runs off 86 balls against Okkampitiya Vijayabahu Vidyalaya in Singer U19 Division 1 Girls Tournament 2020/21.
The encounter between the two sides held yesterday as a 25-over contest where Poorna stroked this mind-blowing century.
Poorna has been a star all-rounder in Central College and as a result she has managed to secure a permanent place in the U19 side.
As a 15-year old, she has been able to display extraordinary performances against her senior women cricketers and if the authorities can manage her properly, she will be a big asset for Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket in future.
