The traditional Colombo Championships Tennis tournament is set to get underway for the 104th edition on the 5th July at the famous SLTA clay courts.

Recognized as one of the most popular tennis tournaments in the country, it is scheduled to be held from the 5th to the 21st of July 2019. Being one of the few Category “A” grade tournaments in the local tennis calendar, the organizers are confident that the tournament will attract the cream of Sri Lanka Tennis, as it has done over the decades.

The Tennis 10’s tournament of the Colombo Championships will be held from 26th to the 28th of July.

The Principal sponsor of the tournament once again is the premier eye care provider “Vision Care”. Long-term backers of the sport, “Perera and Sons” join in once again while the ever-supportive “HEAD” is the official ball sponsor for the tournament.

Events ranging from junior (Boys/Girls – under 12 to 18) to Men’s, Women’s, and Veterans’ (for Over 35, 45, 55 and 65) are being held, giving every segment of the tennis playing community an opportunity to participate.
