Lyceum International School Panadura vs. Wycherley International School

The Lyceumites won the toss and chose to bat 1st. A strong batting display helped them make a decent 180/9 in 30 overs. Their opponents Wycherley, who have been unlucky throughout the tournament, had a blistering start which made things easy for them. They were looking really good with the bat in the second innings and clinched the win in style, scoring 181/5 in 26 overs.

Gateway College Colombo vs. Gateway College Kandy

It is always an exciting game to watch with the two Gateway teams battling each other. The boys from Colombo won the toss and chose to bat first; they made 180/6 in their 30 overs. Kandy didn’t look too good right from the beginning of their innings; early wickets dented their run chase and they had only managed to get to 73 /8 in 19.5 overs when bad weather stopped play.

OKI International School vs. British School

British School won the toss and chose to go with fielding first. They had a solid bowling attack which put immense pressure on the opponents. OKI was bowled out in 28.1 overs while scoring 134 runs. It was not a very big target for the British boys, however, OKI put up a good show with the ball. British got to the target in 28.5 overs while losing 7 wickets.

Leighton Park International School vs. Burhani Serandib School

Leighton Park won the toss and started the innings with the bat. They lost early wickets which and were eventually bowled out for 105 in 21.1 overs. An easy chase awaited the Burhani camp but Leighton Park did their level best to attack with a small target. Burhani managed to overhaul the target, making 106/5 in 21.1 overs.
