DS Senanayake College vs Bandaranayaka College
The Dons decided to bat first in the group ‘A’ encounter which started today in Bandaragama. Hard-hitting left-hander Vihan Gunasekara was the shining light as he stroked 60 runs to help them to a decent total.
Chasing a below-par 173 the lads Gampaha dismantled by discipline bowling efforts from DS Senanayake College as they registered first innings points in the opening day. DS Senanayake left-arm spinner Methushan Kumara was almost unplayable as he claimed 6 scalps to demolish the Bandaranayake boys.

The lads from Negombo won the toss and opted to bat first in gloomy conditions at Kadirana grounds. the hosts posted 180 all out in trying conditions in the traditional encounter which began today. In reply, the visitors started off steadily before bad light stopped play for the opening day.
