Zahira College who won the toss, elected to bat first. The batting department, led by Mohamed Dilhan, did a fine job as they batted the whole day and scored 194 runs for their first innings. Mohamed Dilhan scored a vital 51 while Dilsara Savinda hit a patient 41 before running out of partners. Santhush Gunathilaka, who is a having a great season so far, added 3 more scalps to his tally.
