Thurstan College beat St. John’s College Nugegoda in the Milo Prime Minister’s trophy finals played today at the Royal Complex. At one point the score stood 5 – 5 but Thurstan managed to score two more tries to win the silverware for the year 2016. FT : Thurstan 15 (3T) – St. John’s 5 (1T)
The Chairman’s finals was also played at the same venue where St. Thomas’College Matale thrashed Vidyaloka College Galle. Vidyaloka could not trouble the score board as they failed to score points as the Thomian’s won big with a 57 (9T 6C) to nil.
