Sri Lanka players shine in the first week of the T10 League

The Abu Dhabi T10 League commenced on 15th November with some exciting cricket played during the first 3 days of the tournament including a tie on the opening day. Sri Lankan players, including Dasun Shanaka, Angelo Mathews, Lahiru Kumara and Upul Tharanga have put up few exceptional performances so far. 

 Match 1 – Maratha Arabians vs Northern Warriors

Dasun Shanaka top-scored for Maratha Arabians with an unbeaten 19-ball 37 though his team ended up on the losing side.

After the completed 20 overs, the two teams couldn’t be separated as the match ended in a thrilling tie with both Lahiru Kumara and Seekkuge Prasanna starring with the ball for Team Abu Dhabi.

Bangla Tigers skipper Thisara Perera had a horrible day with the bat and the ball though his team chased 115 in just 8.5 overs thanks to Andre Fletcher and Tom Moores blitz.
