Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has roped in Sussex Strength and Conditioning Coach, Rob Chave as their new Physical Preparation Manager.

Chave, a graduate of the Sport and Exercise Science Master’s Program at Portsmouth University and with a background in tennis joined Sussex in October 2015.
Sri Lanka Cricket have suffered many injuries to their national players in the recent past with almost one casualty after each match. Fitness has been a key topic over the last few months in Sri Lanka and Chave’s challenge would be to work with the players and prepare them physically for future cricket assignments.
