MAS Silueta crushes Unilever

MAS Silueta cleared the 300 –run mark for the 2nd time in the ongoing 03rd Fair & Lovely Men Trophy – MCA “B” division 50 Over League Tournament 2020, continued on the 16th & 19th of October.

Riding on 04 half centuries by their in-form batsmen, Sangeeth Cooray (58), Nimanda Subasinghe (57*), Deshan Hemantha (56) and Irosh Samarasooriya (52), MAS Silueta amassed 341/6 in 50 overs Vs. Unilever Sri Lanka and went on to win by a massive margin of 204 runs.

Earlier on, MAS Silueta gave similar treatment to Singer Sri Lanka by scoring 306 for 7 in 50 Overs.

Out of the 15 matches played up to 19th October, 4 matches have ended in no results, due to bad weather; the affected teams being, CDB (3 matches) MAS Silueta (2 matches), Singer SL (1 match), Pyramid Wilmer (1 match) & HNB (1 match)

The league stage which consisted of 21 matches will conclude on 27th October, with the top 4 teams progressing to the Semi-Finals.
