The 26-year old Sri Lankan right-arm leg-spinner Jefferey Vandersay has injured himself during a practice session on Monday.
The spinner posted the below picture on his Instagram page.
According to the picture, the ring finger has been severely strapped and will take at least 4-6 weeks to recover. The spinner was one of the few positives for Sri Lanka in the recently concluded ICC World T20 2016 in India. Hopefully for Sri Lanka, Jefferey Vandersay would recover soon and be eligible for selection for the upcoming England tour in May.
