Sacha De Alwis was the first to be dismissed falling for just 1 run. Nisal Francisco followed suit falling for 28 runs in the 20th over of the day.
Lahiru Jayakody (48), Vinodh Perera (46) and Nipun Karunanayake (30) all managed 30+ scores taking the hosts to a respectable 266.
Adeesha Nanayakkara was the top scorer for Bloomfield with 78 runs off 120 balls with 3 sixes and 4 fours.
Roshan Jayatissa and Sajeewa Weerakoon were the pick of the bowlers for Galle CC bagging 3 wickets each.
