Six matches in the Sri Lanka Cricket Premier League continued around the island today(8).

Army vs Ports Authority

Dushan Vimukthi’s marathon effort with the bat helped Army to a commanding 462/9 declared, before he completed a stunning all-round performance with his right arm off spin to leave SLPA in all sorts of trouble at the end of day two.

He continued from where he left off to end with 178, before Seekuge Prasanna added some late fireworks in an entertaining knock of 89 which included 10 sixes.

Vimukthi captured 3/12 while seamer Janith Silva bowled a hostile spell to capture 3/27 at the Army Grounds in Panagoda.
