A Pan-Asian Clash of Titans
This prestigious event, organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, holds the imprimatur of the Asian Chess Federation and the World Chess Federation. Drawing participants from chess powerhouses such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkmenistan, the championship promises a true clash of titans.
Threefold Challenge: Blitz, Rapid & Standard
In line with international chess standards, the championship unfolds as three separate events — Blitz, Rapid, and Standard. The strategic duels kick off with the Rapid Championship following the grand opening ceremony and technical meeting on November 29, 2023.
