Trinity vs St. Sebastian’s

Trinity College hit back from their outright loss to Ananda College a few days back, with a thrilling 32 run win over St. Sebasatian’s College, Moratuwa.

Shanogeeth Shanmuganathan’s nine wicket match haul stood out, but it was Mohammed Shoaib’s five wicket haul in the second innings of the Sebastianite innings that paved the way for victory.

Right arm off spinner Nimesh Bandara’s efforts of 8/93 were overshadowed by the brilliant bowling displays put up by the Trinity spinners, but he managed to keep them in the game helping his team bowl out Trinity for low scores in both innings.

Interestingly, none of the batsmen from either team managed to record a half century in this thrilling encounter which ended in favour of the boys from upcountry.
