Prima Sunrise Sri Lanka Junior Open Golf Championship 2025, the country’s most prestigious junior golf tournament, concluded with resounding success, showcasing the exceptional talent and passion of young golfers across Sri Lanka. 

This prestigious tournament, held at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club from 6 to 8 March 2026, was a collaborative effort by Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd, Prima Group Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Golf and the Junior Development Committee of the Sri Lanka Golf Union, celebrating its 17th consecutive year. 

Recognised as the benchmark event for the World Amateur Golf Rankings (WAGR) in junior golf, the tournament showcases rising talent from Sri Lanka and overseas, crowning the national junior champions in both the boys’ and girls’ categories. 

In the Gold Division, Reshan Algama emerged as the Overall Winner – Boys, while Asara Sawhney from India secured the Overall Winner – Girls title. Winners across other divisions also delivered strong performances. Udheera Rashwitha Bandara won the Silver Division Boys, while Vihara Thisarani Herath secured the Silver Division Girls title. 

In the Bronze Division Boys, Jaeden Sathasivam emerged victorious, with Muzammil Mushfira winning the Bronze Division Girls title. Abhiman Abeywardhana claimed first place in the Copper Division Boys, while Pradeep Hakshhara secured victory in the Copper Division Girls. 

The involvement of Ceylon Agro Industries Ltd., Prima Group Sri Lanka in the tournament underscores the significance of shaping Sri Lanka’s junior golf landscape, as the championship not only provides young golfers with a competitive platform to showcase their talent but also reflects Company’s long-standing commitment to supporting the development and advancement of golf in the country.
