At the end of the 5-day aquatic battle between schools island-wide, St. Josephs College – Colombo clinched their 18th consecutive Sri Lanka School Swimming Championships title with 570 total points, while Visakha Vidyalaya Colombo dominated the pool by becoming the Girls’ Overall Champions for the 3rd time in a row with 423 points.
The overall mixed team championship was secured by Lyceum International School – Wattala, with a total of 557 points. All three of these schools topped their categories with massive leads of more than 100 points over the rest of the teams. St. Peters’s College were the Runners-up in the Boys’ category with 317 points and Mahamaya College Kandy finished 2nd in the Girls’ category.
At the closing ceremony of the 48th Annual Sri Lanka Schools All Island Age Group Aquatic Championships 2023, which was organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association and powered by Nestle–Milo, a total of 37 trophies were given away, acknowledging individual champions, age group team champions, junior and senior champions, and overall champions in both swimming and diving.

At the same time, the diving boards were dominated by Royalists with 242 total points and Bishop’s College with 197 points. S. Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia and St. Bridget’s Convent saved the runners-up positions with 53 and 75 points respectively.
