The Sri Lankan swim team representing the country at the FINA World Championships in Kazan, are reported to have been treated disgracefully  and treated like outcast at the event by the organizing body.

Sri Lanka got a little something to celebrate in the Kazan World Swimming Championships as Kimiko Raheem created history in the swimming records of the country setting the new national record in the 200m back stroke event registering a time of 2 minute and 21.18 seconds.

Sri Lankan Olympic prospects, Kimiko Raheem and Cherantha De Silva commenced a full-time one-year swimming training stint through the FINA Targeting Rio 2016 Olympic Scholarship at the Thanyapura Aquatic Training Centre in Phuket, Thailand recently.
