The 1st XI soccer team of St. Joseph’s College are scheduled to engage in a tour of Malaysia in the coming weeks.
The Josephian side achieved noteworthy heights during the season, among which, becoming the runners up in the All Island Division I tournament after 17 long years was the highlight. The Josephian boys also retained the trophy at the Annual Joe-Pete soccer encounter for the fifth consecutive year.
The team is scheduled to leave for Malaysia on February 25. The boys will play against Selangor Indian Soccer Academy and the Selangor State team.
Thirty players including the 1st XI side for the year 2013 and a few juniors accompanied by six officials will take part in the tour.
