Topping the draw in the u14 Boys sheet is Chathurya Nilaweera with an ATF rank of 22 while Nelaka Dissanayake follows close behind stealing 2nd base with an ATF rank of 43. The duo will face 30 other youngsters who are in the mix this year following the monrad format. Anjalika Kurera holds strong in the top spot in the girls main draw with an ATF seed of 22 while tournament’s youngest Oneli Perera follows second with a rank of 175 in the ATF listings.

The biggest highlight of the tournament so far has been the victory for Anuth Wijesinghe who managed to defeat 5th seed Shine Tokas (Ind) in straight sets. Anuth will be looking to upgrade his stats from last year where he has a win-loss ratio of 3-4 with the morale boost he grasped from this win.
