England registered a comfortable victory over Sri Lanka in the third and final T20I of the three-match series played today (19th September) in Manchester, completing a 3-0 clean sweep of the series.
Having won the toss, England skipper Harry Brook once again opted to bowl first, putting Sri Lanka into bat.
Sri Lanka made one change to their playing XI, with Nuwan Thushara coming in for Dushmantha Chameera, who was rested for the final game, according to Sri Lankan skipper Charith Asalanka.
Sri Lanka once again struggled with the bat and were bowled out for just 124 runs. Pathum Nissanka top scored with 36 runs, while Kamindu Mendis contributed 35 runs as the visitors failed to build any significant partnerships.

England’s bowlers kept Sri Lanka under pressure throughout the innings, with Sonny Baker, Jofra Archer and Will Jacks claiming two wickets each.
Chasing a modest target of 125, England made light work of the chase, reaching the target in just 9.4 overs with 8 wickets in hand.
Jos Buttler led the way with a dominant unbeaten 62 off just 32 balls, smashing 7 fours and 2 sixes to take the game away from Sri Lanka.
