The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee has announced a 15-member Sri Lanka U19 Women’s squad for the upcoming home series against the visiting Australia U19 Women’s team.
A product of Princess of Wales’ College, Manudi Nanayakkara has been entrusted with the captaincy and will lead the Sri Lankan squad in this important assignment.
The series is set to provide a valuable platform for the island’s young talents to test their skills against one of the strongest youth outfits in the women’s game.
The tour comprises five T20 matches and a solitary Youth ODI, all of which will be played at the Dambulla International Cricket Stadium. The T20 series will take place from September 20 to 28.
Following the conclusion of the T20s, the two sides will switch gears for the 50-over clash, scheduled for September 30, which will wrap up the tour.
